Warframe: INCREDIBLE Satisfaction! Tenno Pump Action Shotgun

Cead Mile Failte. How you all doin? Now if ever there was a mother of god moment in warframe. It came with the latest update and no i don’t mean ikea frames with all of your shelving units and I don’t mean the fish tanks either and i definitely don’t mean when Mr. Steely from Rick and Morty showed up with those freaky long ass arms of his and snatched up the… beep beep spoiler shut the fuck up potato. Don’t worry i’m not gonna say anything. The mother of god moment will in fact be when you first get your hands on the Corinth. our new Tenno pump action shotgun and of course, relieve some poor fucker from his head, because he doesn’t need it. Heads are overrated. Anyway, it’s got this punchy sound effect and that click click reload is very very satisfying. Not to mention its explosive air burst alternate fire mode. That forces large groups of enemies to sit the fuck down. The Corinth is a very powerful, fun weapon. So expect to see plenty of Timmy’s running around in your squads over the next few days. Screaming as they charge into battle and with Shot, after shot, after shot, and then finally resort to using the explosive rounds to kill enemies because they keep missing their shots the Corinth is also not without its few little drawbacks. Pulling your shots or missing your shots is one of them. You will be punished if you miss a few shots. Fire rate and damage fall-off of course are the others. The Tigris prime is probably still a better shotgun but the Corinth is on par with the Arca Plasmor in regards, I guess, with power and of course having as much fun as possible. The Corinth is also a Mastery rank 10 shotgun and its blueprint is on the market so it is very easily obtained it’s damage type is spread pretty evenly between Slash and Impact with Puncture being the more prominent damage type. So it’s good against armored targets it is also a crit based shotgun that boasts the highest crit chance and crit damage of all of our shotguns in warframe. So it hits fucking hard. it’s got five rounds to fire off and it’s got a slight delay in between firing Each shot because of that pump-action animation, so it’s fire it is a wee bit on the slow side but honestly not painfully slow. You could mod to sway in the other direction or bring a harrow or a toxic Croma and the fire rate isn’t going to be an issue whatsoever. Now it is a shotgun so its damage fall-off starts at 7 meters and it ends 14 meters. Where anything after 14 meters is will be dealing it’s minimal amount of damage. Now because it is a crit based Shotgun, it means that Hunter munitions is viable on it for now but if damage 2.5 stays the same then, with slash damage being on the low side on this weapon, it won’t give decent forced bleeds which
means Hunter munitions shouldn’t be used on it after those changes. If they stay the same and like i said the Corinth’s alternate fire mode is an airburst explosive round the deals blast damage at range but direct hits from this grenade will deal low Impact damage and not explode whatsoever. So enemies up close should just be shot with your primary fire and the airburst rounds should be used at range. Also the grenade, from the airburst round, won’t detonate if it ricochets off a wall or a surface. It just doesn’t explode. So the best way to make use of this fire mode is to shoot above enemy’s heads at range and force them to sit the fuck down. Now Critical Hits from the explosion, on the airburst round, can cause hunter munitions to force pretty large bleeds but other than that it’s all pure blast damage. Now i have four forma on my Corinth at the minute and i have three different builds. All modded identical with the exception of one mod. I have a Hunter munitions setup for as long as Hunter munitions stays viable. I have a Vigilante Armaments build. For when i want to run with my vigilante Volt. For higher crit damage and I have a Seeking Fury build for punch through and of course reload speed. Which will be a lot more beneficial if you’re going up against large groups of enemies and i think if Hunter Munitions does see a nerf for damage 2.5 then the seeking fury
build will probably be my desired setup because i just find it a lot more fun to punch through several enemies. So that is pretty much everything you need to know, about the Corinth, our new Tenno pump-action shotgun.   1. The fire rate is too slow, putting shotgun spazz reduces dmg. Not enough shells in a mag, reload is long. Its uncomfortable to use. It sounds great though

  2. Is there a weapon in warframe that gives you energy when you attack or has a proc that gives you energy? Need it for my chroma

  3. i love the new pump shotty, the first thing i thought when i went into a mission was this was the first track of the OG doom, this thing hasn't failed me and t's easily my favorite… i appreciate how long it is too, as weird as that may sound, i like big guns on small frames

  4. I really wish consoles would get this before Christmas but apparently that's not gonna happen. What the hell DE? Elite Dangerous gets updates released for all platforms at the same time so why can't Warframe be the same? My opinion is, if you can't release an update for ALL platforms at the same time, then don't release it and wait until you can release it for all platforms at the same time

  8. Fuck, alright I think that I know a good way to save Puncture. (Hear me out on this and actually read.)

    It ignores armor based upon the percentage of puncture damage the weapon has. Take for instance the Vaykor Hek has a 65% Puncture ratio. Therefore when it triggers it ignores 65% of the enemy's armor (not shields, shields will still need Impact).

    Going above 100% Status Chance with this weapon will mean that it has a chance to ignore twice as much armor, but when it exceeds -100% armor the excess will instead turn into Punch Through that deals the excess percentage to the target behind them.

    So say the Vaykor Hek hits a double Status Effect. That means it gets a -130% Armor. Take the -30% off as the shot punches through the first victim for -100% and hits the second victim for the -30% armor.

    Why it's still Balanced: Puncture gains no bonus damage against any types of Flesh except Sinew which is only used by Jordas Golem and Hemocyte. Bleed on the other hand gets past armor entirely and gets bonus damage against all flesh types except Sinew.

    Either way, it's better than what the Warframe Devs have planned.

  9. My favorite of the new weapons is the Quartakk (I haven't gotten to try the battle fan yet…the clan research is gonna finish for me tomorrow). It's basically just a shotgun that gets to use rifle mods, and keeps its damage and accuracy at range. It's phenomenal. I've got it at just below 50% crit and at 100% status. So far it's ripped through everything I've used it on (which hasn't gone beyond the star chart yet because I only just finished getting Ivara to 30 and didn't feel like a late night sortie). It's a lot of fun and feels really strong. It's lack of damage falloff is a huge boon on the Plains, and allows me to snipe the grineer right off their fucking dropship perches before they land…while still being able to keep myself alert for sneaky fuckers behind (unlike a sniper rifle). The only real problems with it are a slightly slow fire rate…and an annoying thing where it sometimes won't reload properly due to firing the last shot…but there are so many shots in the magazine that you should manually reload before it would happen most of the time anyway.

    Yeah, the Corinth hits all the good bits just right for me.
    The Arca Plasmor is probably a bit stronger, but it lacks that sweet Tenno/Orokin design..

  11. I've never understood saying "its mainly puncture so its good against armor" thing.

    While it does give a boost to damage against armor, with how the scaling works it doesn't matter after a while as the damage reduction enemies get will outweigh the bonus damage.

    It's more that it's just not bad against armor imo vs it actually being good against it.

  13. ya i been debating on weather to go for alpha (as you ahve) or DPS. im gonna go a higher DPS build. using spring loaded for that 105% ROF after a reload (and since i reload everyshot im basically full uptime.)

  14. The Corinth is as close to a perfect weapon in Warframe as we’re gonna get. Its primary fire is incredibly powerful, but requires skill and timing to land shots. The weapon itself is aesthetically and audibly pleasing, and it toes the line between too gaudy(the Soma Prime) and too plain(Burston Prime). Its secondary fire isn’t the icing on the cake; it’s a whole ‘nother cake stacked on top of the first one. It adds utility and efficiency, allowing you to wipe the trash mobs out and cc the stronger ones for a punishing load of buckshot. All in all, it’s a very complete weapon, and I can’t think of anything to change.

  15. Oh baby, run this thing with max strength chroma and alt fire to destroy absolutely everything! It's quite lovely. I'm getting 250k – 500k damage every shot to every enemy, it completely trivializes sorties

Hey Potato, did you know the Corinth secondary fire does self damage?? i have a riven with negative projectile flight speed. this makes the air burst round explodes alot closer to my teno. and if i do a forward bullet jump and fire the air burst round…… i blow myself to bits… negative projectile flight speed makes the air burst round alot more useful and mod the corinth for status… and have a great laugh… blast and gas cause the most lolz so far…

  19. My daily reward yesterday was the Corinth blueprints. Unfortunately, I had to grind MR 9 to 10 to use it. I already have it forma'd and will be putting all of the work into it as its currently my favorite shotgun.

  20. I really wish that is would bounce off walls that would be really cool and once the secondary fire Moe traveled 20m it exploded

  21. Warning! Don't shoot airburst rounds at nullifier bubbles. They ricochet and tend to explode in your face, which while hilarious the first time, can get old fast.

  22. When I got the Corinth this immediately became my #1 favorite weapon aside from the dread where both deal a FECK ton of damage but I liked the way the Corinth works so It became my favorite shotgun to use 🙂

  24. The Corinth just feels so satisfying on every trigger pull 😀
    And its range damage is actually quite nice, compared to other shotguns. The spread is really tight, meaning most of the pellets will still hit, where other shotguns are down to 1-3 pellets at medium ranges already.

  25. A cool idea that this brings to mind, we can potentially get a corinth prime or possibly a baza prime in the future.

  26. I got a riven for this gun its a damage crit damage -multi shot. So i built the gun to test it out. Is it worth rerolling thebriven to get rid of the -multishot?

  27. A properly built Corinth will utterly erase anything you land headshots on. I have mine built for radiation because I’m weird, but the destruction cannot be ignored. I have +dmg -+multishot + elec on my riven, looking for +dmg +multishot +heat

  28. funny thing is when i use this shotgun on lvl 6 againts a level 30 corrupted i was so surprised im happy about this gun
