REPORTER: TWO STORY LINES THAT
END OFFICERS SHOOTING SUSPECT. THE FIRST STARTED IN THIS
NEIGHBORHOOD BEHIND ME. WE’RE TOLD QUENTIN BROADUS SHOT
AND KILLED HIS WIFE, A
— AND A WITNESS CALLED POLICE
AND THAT IS WHEN THE TRIED TO
PULL THE SUSPECT OVER.>>THE SUSPECT REFUSED TO STOP
AND LED OFFICERS ON A CAR CHASE. REPORTER: THIS CHASE LASTING 20
MINUTES THROUGH NW OKC. — NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY.>>THE CHASE CAME TO AN END AT
NORTHWEST 120TH COURT. REPORTER: THAT’S WHEN THINGS GOT
VERY DANGEROUS VERY FAST.>>THE SUSPECT JUMPED OUT OF THE
VEHICLE AND POINTED A GUN AT
OFFICERS. REPORTER: THE SUSPECT FIRED AT
OFFICERS. SIX OFFICERS FIRED BACK STOPPING
AND KILLING THE SUSPECT. THE SECOND OFFICER INVOLVED
SHOOTING HAPPENED AROUND
MIDNIGHT. WHAT POLICE HAVE TOLD US IS
OFFICERS TRIED TO PULL OVER A
DRIVER AT I-240 AND WESTERN,
THAT’S WHERE THE SUSPECT
PRODUCED A HANDGUN AND AN
OFFICER STARTED SHOOTING. THE DRIVER STARTED DRIVING NORTH
BUT NOT BEFORE FIRING THEIR GUN
AT THE OFFICER. EVENTUALLY, HE THREW HIS GUN OUT
THE WINDOW. POLICE WERE ABLE TO ARREST THE
SUSPECT NEAR SOUTHWEST 54TH AND
PORTLAND. THAT SUSPECT IS STABLE AT THE
HOSPITAL AND NO OFFICERS WERE
