VOTER REGISTRATION LAW.>>Reporter: WE’RE HERE AT STO STODDARD’S RANGE AND GUN STORE AND WE’RE ABOUT TO BUY OUR FIRST GUN. >>MANY PEOPLE WHO WALK IN FOR THE FIRST TIME WANT TO TRY GUNS SO WE HAVE RENTAL GUNS A PRESIDENT RANGE. WE’LL ASK YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO USE THE GUN FOR AND BASED ON THAT WE’LL SHOW YOU DIFFERENT CHOICES.>>Reporter: CAN YOU HANDLE US A COUPLE OF PISTOLS AND MAYBE A REVOLVER? WILL WE BE ABLE TO TRY THESE SNOUT. >>. >>ABSOLUTELY.>>THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS THAT THE GUN SHOULD BE POINTED DOWN RANGE. THERE YOU GO, LOOK AT THAT. NOW YOU’RE GOING TO LOAD THE MAGAZINE IN THE GUN THE SAME WAY YOU DID ON THE GLOCK AND — EXACTLY. AND YOU’RE GOING RACK THE SLIDE AGAIN, THERE YOU GO. THE GUN IS NOW HOT. THIS IS HOW WE STARTED OUT. 1. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! A non-violent, law abiding, legal citizen of the United States is allowed to buy a firearm! That's absolutely insane….. if you have zero understanding of the 2nd Amendment. It's hilarious to me how Liberals can view this as a negative

  2. "Can we try a couple of pistols, and maybe a revolver?" This tells you all you need to know about THIS guy! Hint…SAME DAMN THING DUMMY!

  3. just because its a fairly simple process, doesnt mean its not strict! you have to remember the gun store retailers really have nothing to do with the decision that will come from that background check! its up to the FBI to catch anything that might prohibit you from buying a firearm such as a criminal record etc.

  4. In Rhode Island, we have a waiting period. For handguns, you need what's called a "Blue Card" (nothing like that for a rifle). To get that it's similar to going through a hunter safety course. When you actually purchase, they do the background check and ATF checks and you wait a week. Still, that wait is simply a "cooldown" period so you don't buy a gun angry. The important parts are the background checks and ATF. That is nearly instant and you should know immediately if you're able to purchase a gun or not. We're considered one of the harder states to get guns. Why is what Georgia doing here so bad? They're doing the background checks. Isn't that what the gun control people want? Apparently not.

  5. Let’s see what happens in the real world when two liberals try and buy an AR-16. They thought it would be like walking Starbucks with no line. Walk in, buy the rifle and walk out in 90 seconds. When a CBS news producer when into a gun store to buy the rifle she had to produce two photo ID’s, take 40 minutes to fill out the paper work and she had to commit a felony of lying on the 4473 by making a straw purchase. For the other reporter from the Chicago Sun Times he had to take the same 40 minutes for the paper work and the gun store held the rife for 24 hours, Illinois state law. When he came back the next day for the rifle he found out that he failed the back ground check. The report showed he was a lush and wife beater. So this story of anyone can walk into a gun store and buy a gun in just a few minutes only exists in the fairy land of unicorns.

  6. How convenient you completely skipped over the part where the clerk had to send in the info to the ATF and wait for them to do the background check on him before giving the okay to sell it to guy… you just skipped from '' that process of filling out the application to here took about 20 – 30 minutes..'' and skipped over the clerk saying ''okay, now l have to send in your app to get your background check''.. aaaaaand poof… you get your gun… such bullshit… CNN is just so damn dishonest it's not even funny…

  7. What CNN did was make it look like it's eazy to purchase a firearm. All the brain washed anti gun people just said see it's so eazy. Totally ignoring the government's back ground check extra. Liberals at there best.

  8. You know you can BUY a gun before you commit a crime, right? I mean, if you're an upcoming criminal with no criminal record, nothing is stopping you from buying a lot of guns. Am I wrong?

  9. You want to know how easy it is to buy a gun in the state of Missouri first you walk your happy ass into a gun store and then you fill out a form but ask you a series of questions and it's about the size of a McDonald's application it's one sheet of paper front and back and you better fill it out right then you hand that form and your driver's license or your state ID to the gun shop owner a federal firearms license dealer then he calls the state police after looking over your application and making sure that you filled it out correctly he gives the state police all of your information and everything that you filled out on that form and you signed that form and it is illegal to lie on it and criminally punishable then he proceeds to tell the state officer type of firearm that you're purchasing your driver's license information and everything that you marked on that form as truthful then the state police runs your name to make sure that you're not a felon in any of the 50 states and if everything comes back you can walk right out with that gun in about 10 or 15 minutes there is absolutely nothing wrong with this the system works great the problem we have is it legal to carry a concealed in the state of Missouri but some dick head establishments don't allow you to carry your firearm on their premises so you leave it in your car and then some thief breaks in your car and steals your gun and turns around and sells it to somebody else these people are criminals and they don't care about gun laws they've even been known to break into police cars and steal firearms from police

  10. Okay so he was cleared by the ATF the FBI the state police so what seems to be the freaking problem why does CNN hate the firearm owners so much he did it legally are they mad because it's the 21st century and everything is electronic now and they don't have to wait for like 14 days for your background check to clear I don't really get the point do they feel that it should have took longer

  11. What about the 3-day waiting period before you can go pick up your gun from The Gun Shop ,he makes it seem like you could go pick up a gun within a half an hour after you walk into the store

  12. Found this video to be informative.
    Never purchased gun before.
Could do without the angry gun freaks reading to much into this simple video.

  13. Im from Oklahoma, I used to live in Texas, California and Georgia and let me tell you something CNN…..Keep your gun control propaganda out Oklahoma, Texas And Georgia we dont want you stupid liberalas here, if you want gun control stay in your shit hole state California….Oh and god bless Wyoming!!!!

  14. The thing is I do also have a completely clean background. But what if I‘m going to get pissed of by something or someone in a couple days, buy a gun and go on a rampage? Nothing would stop me from this. A simple background check is therefor not preventing gun violence. In my opinion this is way to easy.

  15. In Nevada.
    "Can't have any felonies."
"Must be a LEGAL citizen of the united states."
"Must have a residence/proof of residency in the state of Nevada."
"You need your social security number."
    "No domestic violence history."
"Could be declined if recently filed a lawsuit against someone/someone filed a lawsuit against you."
"Have a restraining order against you."
"18 years or older (If i'm not mistaken they are trying to make it 21)"
    "A history of suicidal attempts."
"History of mental disorders/been to an institute."

And if I am not mistaken, a politician here practically ruined his career because he tried to prove how easy it was to get a firearm and was denied because he had a domestic violence charge to his record.

Needless to say, criminals will get their hands on a firearm one way or another. Or if not? Will use some other weapon to do the same crime. Thousands of illegal knock off handguns (Ghost Guns) are smuggled in the country every year with fake serial numbers. You can buy parts for a fucking AK-47 and build one yourself.

"But the police are there for a reason. You don't need guns. Call the police."
    Ok
1: By the time the police arrive, you are either dead, the piece of shit is gone, or both.
2: If you are one of those people who demonize the police then you have absolutely NO right to use this sentence.
3: A gun is going to scare off an intruder faster than a baseball bat or a knife, and will probably result in no one getting hurt.

"If you are purchasing a gun then you are up to no good. Guns are designed to kill."
Yes guns are designed to kill. But fire extinguishers are designed to put out fires and an intruder can be just as dangerous as a fire. The reason why I purchased my gun was because my last home was broken into. I am NOT going to risk myself and my loved ones safety. Its either me or them and it damn well wont be me.

Sorry CNN but my guns are not going anywhere. This world is far too dangerous. You can't just "throw guns away" doesn't work like that. I feel more comfortable having my 38 special next to my bed than I do nothing. And if you don't trust me? Well tough shit because I don't care what you think about me.

  16. Criminals don't go to gun store to buy. It's called the Black Market. Cheaper, more options to choose and no one knows you have it. Perfect to kill a cop

  17. So a legal non criminal shows us how easy it is to buy a gun why dont you send an ex con to do it and see how easy it is Counterfit new network…CNN

  18. An American with a good paying job and the ability to pass a background check can buy a gun?
    Shocking. Simply shocking.
Sarcasm, just in case you missed it.

  19. In my country to buy gun u have to get legal permission from government than there would be a written test which is quite hard , generally u have to learn physics than there would be a mental checkup which is quite hard to clear than u have to wait around 1 or 2 years to get approved from the government after getting approved u also have to register your name in your close police station ………….. Than ultimately u get the gun …….. Easy right

  20. Private Sales in Georgia. Georgia law does not require a background check on the purchaser of a firearm when the seller is not a licensed dealer
That law needs to change I rather buy from the local dealer and do the paper work

  21. So you pretty much just wasted a gun stores time by going through the whole process but not actually buying a gun? Wow congratulations guys. Fake news

  22. That is great and how it should be unlike NEW YORK!! It is our right as an American to buy and own arms if we want. If they do this to us citizens they should do the same for the military and police.

  23. I saw nothing wrong with this. I am a gun owner whom lives in Georgia and this was pretty spot on with the exception that no gun store I have visited has an indoor range for testing purposes. Someone please explain to me what was wrong with this?

  24. They look too easy to me you had to go through the FBI background check plus the ATF background check what else do you want to check your colonoscopy

  25. He followed the laws like most people do. Not criminals of course. However, in Ariz you don’t have to to a background check ;(

  26. You lied on a federal form. I hope the FBI follows up and prosecutes you. They better. It’s one of the charters of their position. You never intended to buy a gun yet you filled out the form.

  27. And the ID he also had to show proves the information on the forms he filled out is actually him.
Amazing how you can buy a gun legally provided you pass the requirements.
So the moral of this story is Guns are good and criminals are bad.

  28. Gun store guy: we need you to fill out the 4473 form
Reporter doing story about gun buying: What’s that?
    Me: 😔 CNN…SMH

  29. Pretty much the same in OK, only my FFL isn't computerized; fill out the paper form and they call it in. But the whole thing is less than an hour.

  30. In my opinion it shouldn’t be hard to purchase guns but to make punishment harder on criminals who do these bad things with guns

  31. Explains laws making it were you have to wait days/weeks to reaceive your gun after extensive background checks, explains extensive restrictions on buying guns

    end of video
"And thats how easy it is to buy a gun in georgia in just minutes"

  32. Lol your damn right thats how easy it is in fact Kennesaw Ga law requires all residents to own a gun.
I love that gun store made many family purchases with them.
