Battlefield 1 MARTINI HENRY INFANTRY! The BEST Sniper Rifle? + FREE SNIPING Tips

Welcome to the Martini-Henry. Some youtubers call this the god gun, some
say it is even better than the knockout, today you are going to find out. The Martini-Henry was a breech-loading single-shot
lever-actuated rifle used by the British Army. It first entered service in 1871 and it was
eventually replaced by the Snider–Enfield. Martini-Henry variants were used throughout
the British Empire for approximately 30 years. It was developed by a Swiss guy called Friedrich
von Martini and by a Scotsman Alexander Henry. Hence the name Martini-Henry. Sorry for all the guy who thought it was about
the alcohol. A few years ago the United States Marines
recovered a few of them from various Taliban weapons caches and another one was found by
United States Army’s 101st Airborne Division. Apparently some guys think it is still a good
idea to use them. Now what do you have to do to get your hands
on one of those in Battlefield 1. The first thing that you need to do is to
reach level 10 of the scout class. This is very easy and it shouldn’t take
you very long to do that. By now you will also have an extra 200 war
bonds lying around so that you can unlock the Martini-Henry Infantry. The first thing you should do is to modify
your new weapon. You can change the standard iron sight into
radium sights and you can adjust the magnification. For most people the 2 times magnification
works best. If you want to make some brutal kills then
attach a Bayonet, but keep in mind that it has a small negative impact on your gun. Unfortunately there is no scope and this will
make this gun a lot harder to use. OK, so you are ready to go, you find yourself
on the Battlefield with your shiny new weapon but now what? I will tell you everything that you need to
know. Let’s start with the statistics. From zero to 20 meters you will do 90 damage. From this point the damage goes up and at
30 meters you can kill your enemy with only one shot, this is where the sweet spot starts. It ends at 80 meters and after that it will
eventually drop to 70 damage. This means that you can one shot kill everything
and everyone who is between 30 and 80 meters away from you. Outside of this range you will need 2 bullets
to kill, except for a headshot.. A better and faster option is to shoot your
enemy once and then to finish him off with your handgun if the is close enough. The only problem is that it will only fire
38 rounds per minute and then it takes forever to reload. So you better make sure that you don’t miss. It really pays of for this gun to take those
extra few moments to adjust your aim so that you are 100% sure that you will hit your enemy. The muzzle velocity is only 440 meters per
second. Normally this is a big deal for any sniper
rifle but this doesn’t affect you that much when you are using the Martini-Henry. I’m sure that you are not one of those guys
who want to get a one shot kill from 500 meters away with an iron sight so don’t worry too
much about the muzzle velocity, just know that it is slightly slower than the other
sniper rifles. Most of your victims will be close enough
so that it won’t matter that much. Like all other sniper rifles in Battlefield
1 it has a bullet drop of 12 meters per second squared and the Martini-Henry has a magazine
size of eum 1, I mean… really? Is that a joke? Just one bullet? So every time that you fire one bullet you
will get the pleasure of watching that awesome 2.5 second reload animation, don’t you love
that? Try not to put yourself in a position where
you are less than 30 meters away from your enemy. This is outside of your sweet spot and you
are now getting closer and closer to the distance that does maximum damage for all the other
the guns in Battlefield. If you get closer than 30 meters you are putting
yourself at a disadvantage. You can still shoot him and cause 90 damage
so that you can finish him off with your secondary but if you miss you might be in trouble. Another free tip now that I am speaking about
the secondaries, I didn’t review them yet so I can’t tell you 100% for sure which
one is the best but so far I have been pretty happy about the performance of the M1911. It’s a very good idea to start off with
this handgun. The iron sights might take some time getting
used to. A few month’s ago when I was preparing for
the release of Battlefield 1, I started playing Battlefield 4 again but this time I was only
playing with iron sights. So no Coyote, no Kobra no Reflex no nothing. This made the transition to Battlefield 1
very smooth the only problem with the Martini-Henry is that I never played Battlefield 4 with
a sniper rifle with only an iron sight because it just didn’t make sense, I mean why would
you do that? Well I guess the Martini-Henry is the reason
for that. So don’t get disappointed after you have
missed your first shots, it just take some time to get used to this gun even for the
more experienced snipers amongst us. Oh and if you were wondering, yes you can
no scope your enemy even with a gas mask on. By the way, guys the Youtube likes and shares
are very helpful to me. If you think that this video is worthy, would
you mind taking a moment to like this video and to share it with all you buddies? This was FOG of GAMING, thanks for watching
and I will see you on the Battlefield!

  1. Sweet spot system is the dumbest idea ever… I honestly don't like BF1 much at all and it's the only BF I won't be playing very much.

  2. wonder how people can see trough the second iron sight and how to make long shots i only get 70/90 damage like your vid ✌ allen de video beeld blijft hangen en geluid gaat door

  3. big like dude! I only played with Gewher 95 and 98 from lvl 0 till today when I've became 10 and purchase the Martini . all the grind and the play with iron sights only pays off 🙂 it will take some time to get used to it but I already love it and btw riflesound it's amazing in headsets 🙂

  4. Am i the only one who actually prefers the iron sight? Scopes seem to narrow my field of view more than i'm comfortable with

  5. When you say the rifle was invented by Martini and Henry, you're might be misunderstanding the nomenclature a little. While yes the falling block action was invented/improved mr von Martini the Henry part is just because of the type of rifling used, the same goes for other british service rifles like the Lee Metford and Lee Enfield rifles, both used the locking action and magazine system that James P Lee came up with, but used different kinds of rifling.
It's kinda weird because other designs like the M91 Mosin Nagant, RSC 1917 and such actually sport the names/initials of their respective inventors. But then again you're not wrong, it's just me being annoying that's all.

  6. for Xbox 1 users.. great tips for players Everytime you see enemy while using this rifle use your RB button to mark them as possible it will help your martini to aim them by itselft then fire on any mid to long range, make sure the enemy doesn't move or will cause the auto aim assist on martini to move .. yup this martini is too powerful I use this technique all the time I'm only 30 rank and my kills on this gun 25 stars and counting and my accuracy on this gun 64℅..

  7. I love the martini! I pretty much only use scout class and I'm already onto my 25th martini star 😀 I'm new here to man liked the vid! Going to watch some other content now! You've gained a sub from me though! 🙂

  8. Hey FOG of Gaming.. Just a tip man.. I know that you mainly make your videos for all of us that love to watch them and all, but if you want to GUARANTEE more views.. i really really REALLY recommend trying to make your videos more than 10minutes long to utilize the Youtube Algorithm.. You will, without a doubt, see a huge influx of views due to this.. Right now all of your videos are not even included into the algorithm(the way youtube recommends or shows you videos based on your view history or search patterns) because of the fact that they're just not long enough videos.. This is a shame and you deserve WAY MORE views and subscribers and I promise you that making your videos even 10 minutes and 1 second will net you soooo many more views 🙂

As always man I love your videos and will continue to watch and like them and share them when I can 😛 But really though… You most DEFINITELY try and make your videos over 10 minutes each so that way your channel and community grow 🙂 Peace and take care. See you on the Battlefield!

  9. Hello Fog Of Gaming! I think it was a good video, tho i belive the audio of the gameplay should be a bit lower, so that it doesn't sound like your voice is competing the game audio.

  10. If you allow me to give you an advice: you should turn down the game's volume a bit if you want to talk over some gameplay footage 🙂 It'll be much appreciated by us viewers, as we'll hear you better 🙂

  11. this rifle replaced the Snider-Enfield if you bothered to research the history on the weapon you would have found that out

  12. Let's put it like this; my accuracy rate for the martini-henry is 50% and you can bet that all of those shots killed someone, so maybe it does have a huge number of shortcomings but if you know how to use it right you can achieve regular double digit K/Ds in matches

  13. nitpick: It was not replaced by the the Snider-Enfield, it REPLACED the Snider-Enfield. The Martini-Henry was then replaced by the Lee-Metford (The grandfather of the SMLE) But otherwise good video (:

  14. I prefer the Gewehr M.95 because of its outstanding ROF although it has no sweetspot. And I guess the best sidearm for the scout class is the Mars Automatic. Just my opinion.

  15. Hey Fog do you have any tips on how to use the Martini post-patch? I grinded to level 10 but was a bit late and wasn't able to experience the og Martini.

  16. Nice video i love the henry !!! Check my channel for some battlefield clips bros but im not so good as this guy haha probs

  17. Hey man ,seems like your gun works better than mine. Somehow I get 90 hit shots all the time. It's pretty frustrating and thats about 70% of the cases. So far I haven't felt godlike at all with this weapon.

  18. brooooo I love that gun XD I was considering getting the short cut package cuz I'm lazy, but, if your right and it won't really take that long, then I'll wait.

  19. Isn't the SMLE Marksman better than the Martini Henry in almost every way? There is only a minimal difference with the sweet spot. 30-80m for the Martini and 40-75 for the SMLE. The SMLE has a huge magazine and rate of fire to compensate for the lack of those 15 meters of sweet spot range. It's basically the same gun when sweet spot is accounted for, just slightly worse sweet spot range which doesn't make that much of a difference.

  20. once u use the martini ur scout efficiency will increase with other scout single action rifles the more u use the martini

  21. it's a black powder bullet they make a lot of smoke if you want a round of 6 shots the smoke will get in your sight

  22. A free tip for editing video. Always lower the volume of the in game sound! makes it better to hear you! 🙂

  23. My class is always:
Martini Henry Infantry (No bayonet and iron sights)
    Frommer stop
    Incendiary or gas grenade
    Incendiary tripwire bomb
    Flare Gun – spot

  24. Hey man, great video, but early on u mention that the rifle was replaced by the snider-enfield. youve actually got it backwards, the martini henry replaced the snider enfield, and in turn the martini henry was replaced by the lee-metford.

  25. When I unlocked it I had a camo for it and I put it on it gold and looks fuking cool it just really hard to kill people but I found a other video that helped me a lot this kinda but the iron site you have I just can't work with that I'll try later with it to see if I'm just bad 😂
