India’s Indigenous Sniper Rifle for IA.

Greeting friends I am AMIT, welcom to defence decode, and in this video we are going to talk about india’s indigenous SNIPER RIFLE So yes frieds this snipner rifle is designed and developed by a BANG LURU based Defence firm, STUMPP SCHUELE & SOMAPPA Defence so yes friends this Bangalore based firm is the largest producer of high quality springs for the automotive & defence market. The firm has a 70 year illustrious track record of manufacturing in India for Indian and international clients(British and USA forces) these exports by this firm was in a collaboration with its 2 partners 1 LMT: Lewis machine tool, USA based Company, and 2. CBC defence so after working with them SSS defence got much more experience to design and develop its own SNIPER GUN, and that is what the CEO of company has to say and SSS Rifle are very much inspired by their collaborative product and its designing is complete indigenous CEO of SSS defence says “We are the first to indigenously design and develop sniper rifles. We’ve not acquired ready-made technology from abroad to only assemble.” CEO SSS says we are not only going to offer the weapon, but also provide a complete solution giving users ammunitions, optics and other accessories necessary to operate the weapon, makes us unique. and we are planning to explore chances to export our own sniper rifle, it has already proved its mettle in the USA on their standard parameters, and its now ready for user trials The army has been looking to acquire sniper rifles, which has been delayed because of the 20 firms that participated in a tender issued last year, none offered ammunition, SSS is the single indi firm offering AMMU too SSS Defence has developed two rifles: Viper, chambered for .308/7.62x51mm cartridge While Viper has proved its accuracy from a distance of more than 1,000 metres and 2nd Rifle is Saber, chambered for .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge. Saber has proved it on a 1,500 metres range. The Minute of Angle (MoA), which is used to measure the accuracy of rifles, the firm claimed, is best in the class, comparable to global weapons. So technically if u categorise the snipers on the basis of its weight, this one is going to top the list and CEO krisanan added to its praise by saying that they are impervious to foul weather conditions, and hot/cold temperature extremes. The rifle has an ergonomically adjustable shoulder stock, which will prove very useful for our armed forces, which have men and women from different parts of the country who are built differently So far, the firm has invested nearly Rs 20 crore in the business if small arms, optics and ammunition and has started work on building an 80,000 sqft arms factory at Jigani. This facility will be manufacturing arms and have a capacity to make 15,000 arms per annum from day one of the first phase. Capacity will then increase to 45,000 arms per annum in the second phase (January 2022) and 80,000 per annum in some years in the third phase,” Krishnan added. firm has also acquired an 80-acre plot for an ammunition factory near Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, some 200km from Bengaluru. “This factory will manufacture multiple ammunition calibers — 9mm, 7.62x39mm, 7.62x51mm, .338 Lapua and 12.7mm for export markets and domestic demand and they are ready to offer these bad boys to the IA under user trials and hoping to participate in the bidding process which is going to bring around 80k sniper for IAF So what are your thoughts about this, let us know in the comments, enjoyed this video put a thumbs up and do not forget to SUB.

  1. Govt should order atleast couple thousand of these rifle….. This will definitely boost the morale of indigenous arms manufacturer.

  2. Army ne bahut se home made guns ko to reject kr diya ths..
Toda desh k company ko b moka de…
Bs baate hi na ho indiginus k..
Trail jarur kre bt tender m relief de..
    H& k,iwi,barreta ka moh maya chore toda…

  3. I have hopes from only private sector. HAL, OFB needs to pull it's socks up and research, innovate and deliver weapons, aircrafts, helicopters in time and with quality.

  4. Could you compare this rifle with the latest rifles Indian special forces are using in a comparitive analysis?… That would be very popular video I think

  5. OFB sabit kr rha k wo ek nakaara org hi rh gya…bs srkri department jo recruitment ka sources hi…
100 saalo se forign tools ko impot kr modify production kr rha wo b low quality..

  6. Iska trial krenge 2-3 saal and then they will say, it doesn't fit our requirements, we want foreign ones , same old story…

  7. These snipers are truly the Made In India products and also best in class in the world. Indian Govt , Army , Navy and Airforce should support this company and encourage them by giving large orders and export support. Also encourage them to research and develop many more versatile and best in class guns

  8. The govt and ministry of defence must have to fixed the deal for short range and Long range sniper rifles with this Bangalore based rifle company I don't know too much about this company but I think any indigenously developed defence products must be our first priorities obviously it's must be fulfilled all the parameters terms and conditions, if it will pass all the parameters then we must have to select it for our sniper rifles deal as well as it will stimulate the govt's flagship project make in India too. Jai Hind Jai Bharat.

  9. Pakistan Sniper humare soljers ko pta nahi kitne saalo se target practice kr rhe the…
Bt army officer ne govt ka focus nahi dilya…
Jo mila tha usi m khus..30 saal old tools se …
Govt pr pressure bnne se hi wo maango ko pura krte hi..nahi to netao ka kya

  10. Now compare these to the piece of fecal matter developed by OFB. OFB sniper looks like it's a pellet gun used in fairs to shoot balloons or like the wooden prop guns used in 90s low budget Hindi Bollywood movies.
This on the other hand looks modern and up to date with world standards

  11. Ummid bahut km hai…army ho foreign tools jyada fav lgta hi… TATA, Kalyani jyse bde org artillery bna chuke the bt test range tk nahi mila..

  12. Indian army nahi legi.lekin haan agar jaise Indian shoes ki tarah isaral ke yaha deke phr India me import krte the waise he agar America se export Kare to jarur consider KR skti h Indian army

  13. Buying DMR won't completely satiate the Army's requirement for a bolt action sniper rifle. Bolt action snipers are much more accurate as compared to DMR's.

But it can certainly replace SVD Dragunov DMR sniper rifle currently in use.

  14. Sir u r inspiration for us
U r doing such a hard work, u updated just in night, aur abhi apne video bhi bna diya .
Thank you sir for making such an informative video for us.

  16. Bhai ye pictures representative purpose ke liye hai ya actual rifle ki hai…kyuki internet par alag alag bohut sare pictures released huwa hai…bohut confusing hai is liye puch raha hoon..

  19. #AmitBhai ek question h…
Kya ye rifles jo thumbnail ya 0:11 per show ki jaa rahi h wahi real sniper rifles h jinhe iss bengaluru based company ne banaya h ya fir ye pic sirf representation ke purpose se use ki h apne…

Kiuki kuchh leading defence sites iss news per jo pics show ker rahi h vo alag h aur kam se kam dikhne mein toh achhi nahi h rifles un pics mein… Saath hi bohot jyaad lenth h un rifles ki…

Toh bas ye hi pata kerna tha ki apne jo thumbnail mein ya 0:11 per rifles dikhai h vo kya iss company dwara banai gai original rifles ki pics h ya fir sirf representation ke liye h ????

    Plz reply..

  20. Nahi legi humaari Government. Iss weapon ko. Kyunki India ne banayi hai na indigenously. Sarkari logo ko indegineous product nahi pasand hote. Kuchh khaas hi allergy hai Indian private firms se. Sarkari company kaam kar ke raazi nahi hoti, aur wahi cheez badiya lagti hai..

  21. Amitji : In my opinion user trial ke liye yeh Sniper bohat hi acha hai… Par army ka requirement 5. and 7. something ke bullet diameter ke liye hai … Yeh sniper 1 km and 1.5 km tak accurately hit kar sakthe hai… par thar aur kashmir ka temperature difference mein yeh barrel sustain kar payega… ?

  22. Amit baba ye ek bada achievement hai saber ke taur par lekin agar heavy caliber snipers jaise 12.7×108 mm aur 20mm ki heavy caliber rifles bhi banani chahiye kyunki enemy ko 1.5km se 2km tak kill capacity honi chahiye

  23. Amit baba Russians 3 conditions par rifle test karte hai.extreme cold (-50 se 60degree),humidity and rain, aur extreme hot(50degree) and dust.ye 3 parameters par agar saber aur viper pass ho to accha hai

  24. What is OFB doing all the years (govt time ) we should appreciate this startup SSS Defence they are thinking for even exporting the sniper rifle That's why private players should come in this field (defence sector) to break the monopoly of govt sector companies It will take time but we are on the right direction

  25. WWOOOOWW…… But I am sure our Arms lobby bastards will kill any possibility of Indian Armed Forces buying or using this product.

  26. The question is Indian army humesa foreign assult rifle kharidne mein interest dikhati hey . To kya Indian army in indeginious assult rifles ko kharidega ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔😥😥😥😥🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

  27. Please stop using mirror images… especially of rifles as they are different on both the sides. For eg: cocking handles (if they are called so)are located on the right side and not on the left as shown in initial pictures. This seems to have happened due to mirror imaging.

  29. Semi-auto only?? The saber is long range precision rifle so that's understandable but the viper is an assault rifle… Are you sure it is only restricted to semi-auto??

  30. Wrong pictures are used by you in this video
These are not that sniper rifles. These are asault rifle
The first sniper rifles, that is made by sss defence is a bolt action gun. Second one is like Aug/Gruja.

  31. Only private sector has the hope vi’s-a-vi’s quality, performance and looks. Even if it seems to be a product of a company manufacturing in India under 100% FDI, we better induct them is Army if these rifles meet the desired criteria.

  32. SSS defence CEO : We’re good friends with LMT, but exist as a 100% Indian co. While we do “collaborate” on some platforms (emphasis on purpose) these weapons have Indian brain, blood, sweat & tears on them…unless someone says we copied the idea of a bolt action receiver for a sniper rifle

  33. Amitbhai what happened to much hyped JVPC aka MSMC …..it seems Assam rifles and CRPF brought Beretta MX4 carbine…

  34. India wala kyu nahi apna country ke weapon use karti chutya government if they give power our Indian scientist they have power development most dangerous weapons to fack all countries
